In support of getting the children involved in our wider environment, the Pre-School will be holding their first ‘Just One Tree’ day on 13th March.
JUST ONE TREE is a non-profit organisation supporting reforestation projects around the world. They combat Global Warming by planting trees, and in the process help provide education, training and sustainable incomes in poverty stricken areas, while simultaneously improving livelihoods and tackling our climate crisis.
During this day our children will be creating leaves to hang on a tree in exchange for a pound donation to this very worthy charity. Each pound then plants a tree in an area of the world where it will have the largest impact on reducing carbon emissions and deforestation.
These activities, alongside our outdoor attitude at the Pre-School, supports all the children to get more involved in our environment – and we encourage parents, grandparents and carers to take the children out and get involved too!
