About Us: Our Pre-School
Seer Green Pre-School aims to serve the children and families in our community, and is located next to the village school.
The Pre-School is term-time run, and our opening hours are as follows:
Monday 08:50am - 3:10pm
Tuesday 08:50am - 5:00pm
Wednesday 08:50am - 5:00pm
Thursday 08:50am - 5:00pm
Friday 08:50am - 3:10pm
There are two sessions each day: morning (08:50 - 11.50am) and afternoon (12.10pm - 3:10pm). These can be combined into a full day from 08:50 - 3:10pm, which is 6 hour and 20 minutes in total.
We also offer Afternoon Adventurers (extended hours) from Tuesday - Thursday, which runs from 3:10pm - 5:00pm. Afternoon Adventurers is available to our current cohort who are over 3 years old, and is run by our own, experienced staff. Please note that funding cannot be used for Afternoon Adventurers, and the cost can be found in our fee sheet.
Parents can choose their child's sessions Monday to Thursday, subject to a minimum for every child of two mornings and two afternoons, although if you feel that this will create a barrier to your child attending with us, then please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Our Friday sessions for the older cohort focus on school readiness. We collaborate closely with Seer Green C of E School to prepare the children for their transition to school, which includes organising visits. Additionally, the children engage in activities tailored for older age groups, such as cooking and Forest School
